When Is Season 4 Reloaded Releasing?

According to official in-game updates and store activity, Season 4 Reloaded is scheduled to launch on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Despite earlier concerns about delays—especially after the Rivals event received a one-week extension—it now appears that Reloaded is right on track.

Call of Duty has just released the final store bundle before the update ("Make Me Hungry"), a usual sign that the new patch is imminent.

Beavis and Butt-Head Crossover Arrives

In one of the most unexpected moves yet, Call of Duty is bringing Beavis and Butt-Head into Season 4 Reloaded as cell-shaded operators. The crossover was announced via social media with a short teaser clip showing the duo on Rebirth Island, sporting a distinctive cartoon-style aesthetic.

This stylistic change has sparked speculation:

Is this a cell-shaded Rebirth Island mode?
Are these bundles voice-acted or purely visual?
Will more cartoon IPs follow (e.g., The Simpsons, King of the Hill)?

Based on the visuals, the main characters (Beavis and Butt-Head) will likely be part of a premium bundle—possibly priced at 3,000 COD Points—while two background operators could be free unlocks in the event pass.

Event Pass, New Camo Weapon Rewards

A new event is launching alongside Season 4 Reloaded, and it’s expected to include:

A new universal camo (possibly free)
    The Olympia shotgun
    A melee pickaxe
    Additional operator skins

If tradition holds, players will be able to unlock some content for free while the rest is gated behind the paid tier of the event pass. However, locking a camo behind a paid tier could result in significant community backlash, so it’s likely that the new camo will be a free grindable reward.

Trailer and Roadmap Incoming

As of now, no official trailer or roadmap has been published, but one unlisted video has appeared in the official Call of Duty YouTube playlist. This strongly suggests a full reveal is coming Tuesday, June 25, following past marketing patterns where the roadmap and trailers drop two days before the Reloaded update.

The Beavis and Butt-Head crossover signals a possible shift in creative direction for Call of Duty. While some players are thrilled by the novelty, others are skeptical—especially after Activision emphasized "realism" in their Black Ops 6 marketing by ruling out operator carry-forward.

This crossover may serve as an experiment to gauge community response to more stylized content. If it sells well, expect more cartoon and pop-culture crossovers in the future.
